One of the speakers at OnCopyright 2010 was Nick Bertke, also known as Pogo. He’s right on the edge of remix culture creating music from a myriad of little sounds found in film. Infringement, fair use, or something else? Certainly there’s nothing about what he does that detracts from the value of the original. If anything, the compositions that Pogo creates are loving homages to the films he uses as source material. I dig ‘em.
